“Words can’t fully express how delighted I was when Marcia and Ted talked with me about acquiring Whitehawk, where it all began for me in 1977,” Kim Martindale said. “To be the producer of Whitehawk again has been a dream for many years. At 16, I worked on the team that produced the very first Whitehawk Show,” he continued. “Two years later, I was show producer,” Martindale said, “and within 5 years, Whitehawk had grown to three shows:the Antique Indian Art Show, the Ethnographic Show Art, and the Old West Show.”

VIRTUAL SHOWS MAY & NOVEMBER 2023
We are very excited to be returning to San Francisco with Live In-Person shows. Our 2020 show was a vibrant, stunning, and well received event and we look forward to welcoming you to the 37th annual San Francisco Tribal & Textile Art Show and the 39th annual American Indian Art Show | San Francisco at the beautiful Festival Pavilion at Fort Mason in 2023. We feel it is so important to come together to experience the exquisite and varied art represented in these two shows; to share, discuss, and enjoy!
We have been busy since 2020. We have introduced Virtual Shows to maintain the connection between exhibitors and collectors, and with such success we will continue to offer Virtual Shows twice a year, in May and November 2023.
We had In-Person events in Santa Fe in 2021 and for the 2022 event, Objects of Art Santa Fe and The Antique American Indian Art Show combined into a single show, expanding its range of tribal art and including contemporary American Indian art, adopting a new title, Objects of Art & American Indian | Tribal Santa Fe.
We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our show line up with the acquisition of Whitehawk Antique Indian & Ethnographic Show Santa Fe, the oldest annual show and sale of antique American Indian and international tribal art in the U.S. This show has kicked off Santa Fe’s iconic August Indian Market Week since 1977 and we are proud to bring this show into our group.
With Whitehawk joining our San Francisco Tribal & Textile Art Show, American Indian Art Show | San Francisco, and Objects of Art & American Indian | Tribal Santa Fe shows, our production group is now the only group in the U.S. presenting major annual In-Person and Virtual exhibitions of Indigenous, ethnographic, and tribal art from Africa, Asia, Australia, and the Americas.
The Objects of Art Shows continue to bring together an extensive collection of historic to contemporary material that includes unique objects, fashion and jewelry, furniture, works on paper and canvas, as well as the classics of Tribal, Folk, and American Indian art.
The range of material is vast, the selection is discerning, and the result is exhibitions of exceptional objects of art. By showcasing the most renowned art dealers in their fields, in the West’s most celebrated cities for art—Santa Fe and San Francisco—, with decades of experience producing historically significant shows, we have built a unique collection of Art Shows curated to create an unparalleled art experience.
We look forward to welcoming you In-Person in 2023!
